For a Spider-Man: Brand New Day press event in Rome, Zendaya wore a red-and-blue archival Versace outfit that evoked Spider-Man's iconic suit

Her ensemble included pieces from Versace's 1997 collection, which spotlighted sparkling fabrics and elegant two-piece sets

Zendaya is tapping into Spider-Man's classic look with glittering archival Versace.

The Drama actress, 29, paid homage to the beloved Marvel superhero, played by her husband Tom Holland, at the Rome stop on the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour. For the event, Zendaya sported a red-and-blue archival Versace ensemble that evoked the classic colors of the franchise.

Zendaya's look featured a glittering, cropped red tank, paired with a color-blocked blue-and-red mini skirt, also in the same sparkling fabric. The vibrant color palette mirrored that of Spider-Man's quintessential suit, which Holland steps into for his seventh film as the character with Brand New Day.

The pieces are from the 1997 Versace Fall/Winter collection, her longtime stylist, Law Roach, shared on his Instagram Stories. The ready-to-wear runway collection, which ultimately became some of Gianni Versace's final designs before his death, spotlighted a lineup of shimmering garments and elegant two-piece sets.

At the Spider-Man: Brand New Day event in Rome, Zendaya — who plays Spider-Man/Peter Parker's love interest, MJ — paired the ensemble with bright white stiletto heels and diamond earrings.

Also part of her look was her engagement and wedding ring stack, which fueled months of speculation that Zendaya and Holland had formally tied the knot following their December 2024 engagement. On June 16, while speaking with Esquire, Holland confirmed that he and his longtime love had gotten married away from the public eye.

The magazine asked Holland about fake AI wedding photos that circulated online, which had stumped his grandmother, he said. She thought she wasn't invited, he added, and Esquire asked if he'd had to have similar conversations with other members of his family.

"No, because they were all there," he said, then added simply, "That's all you'll get on that."

Speculation surrounding the couple's wedding began when Roach claimed in March, "The wedding has already happened. You missed it."

A source confirmed to PEOPLE in January 2025 that Holland had proposed to Zendaya over the holiday season.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31.
