"RuPaul's Drag Race" alum Katya Zamolodchikova has postponed an upcoming show due to health issues.

Katya, 44, and frequent collaborator Trixie Mattel were scheduled to do a live recording of their "The Bald and the Beautiful with Trixie and Katya" podcast with special guest Dan Levy during the weeklong Netflix is a Joke festival in Los Angeles.

But on May 5, the comedic duo announced in identical Instagram stories that the May 9 show "must be postponed as Katya focuses on her health and recovery following a medical procedure."

"Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding. Please hold on to your tickets — a reschedule date should be announced shortly," the pair's Instagram statement read.

Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova attend I Like to Watch Live, presenting "Black Mirror" Season 6 episode "Joan is Awful" at The Paris Theatre on June 13, 2023, in New York City.

The announcement comes a week after Katya posted a selfie in a hospital gown, wearing a nasal cannula that helps deliver oxygen. "Girl I’m in body jail #hellonearth," the April 29 X post read. On May 1, Katya shared an update indicating she had been discharged from a hospital.

"Happy this day to the divas helping gran get her can out the hospital," she wrote alongside an International Labor Day graphic posted on X. "Thank you for the bday and get well wishes. I will do just that it seems."

USA TODAY reached out to Katya's team for comment.

The "Drag Race" Season 7 alumni are currently on The Bald and The Beautiful Live: Very Bald, Very Beautiful tour, which features the drag queens "presenting fans with thought-provoking conversations, PowerPoint presentations, and ruminations on all things beauty, fashion, pop culture and more" as they record their podcast in front of a live audience.

Their next shows are scheduled for May 16 and May 17 in Boston.

Two years ago, Katya postponed "The Bald and The Beautiful" shows to check into rehab, People and The Wrap reported in April 2024.

"There’s a saying for the active alcoholic or drug addict that the trajectory of the life course has three possible outcomes: A) jail, B) institutions or C) death," Katya said in an Instagram post, which has since been taken down, according to People and The Wrap. "Unfortunately, I find myself squarely and firmly and quite uncomfortably in the B camp right now."

"In an effort to make things good with you in the future, I’ve got to make things good for me right now," she continued.
