Tarek El Moussa praised his ex-wife Christina Haack and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa for always supporting his vision in a recent Instagram Reel

The trio now share a positive dynamic, appearing together on their HGTV show The Flip Off, despite past conflicts

Tarek El Moussa is showing his appreciation for two very important women in his life.

The HGTV star, 44, opened up about his unconventional dynamic with his ex-wife Christina Haack, 42, and his current wife Heather Rae El Moussa, 38 — and highlighted the support they both give him — in an Instagram Reel on Monday, June 22.

In the video, a series of clips showing the trio smiling and having fun together are shown, including their joint appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show last year and a hangout at the El Moussas' family home.

Other clips showed scenes of the group on the HGTV show they all star on together, The Flip Off, along with a short video of them doing promo for the show before it premiered in January 2025.

Written over the compilation, Tarek added candidly, “The greatest gift I could ever receive is two women who believed in my vision and built it with me."

In the caption of the video, which has Michael Jackson's “Billie Jean” playing in the background, he quips, “I think we can all agree that I have good taste in women.”

The post, which was liked by Haack, received a number of comments praising the group's dynamic and ability to get along.

“Amen. Yes you do and they both compliment a very great and handsome man!! You are all blessed to have each other,” one wrote, followed by another admitting, “They are equally beautiful and amazing 🙌 I have never seen a relationship like this lol but obviously you are all winners for making it work.”

Both Tarek and Haack have been open about not being on great terms for years after their divorce was finalized in 2018. However, “time healed” their situation, and they've said they were able to put their differences aside for their children.

The exes first met in 2005 when Tarek was 24 and Haack was 22. They built their house-flipping business together, which was documented on their hit HGTV show Flip or Flop that ran from 2013 to 2022.

They share daughter Taylor, 15, and son Brayden, 10, whom they welcomed during their marriage from 2009 to 2016. After Tarek and Heather tied the knot in October 2021, the couple welcomed their now-3-year-old son Tristan.

In May, Heather and Haack revealed their first impressions of each other and recalled the story of the time they first met in a “Get Ready” video on Heather's YouTube channel.

“So basically I was seven or eight months pregnant with Hudson," Haack said of her youngest son, 6, whom she shares with her second ex-husband Ant Anstead. "Tarek texted me that he was coming to get the kids and he did not tell me that Heather was coming over. It was like a random day. And so I'm just like a really pregnant person looking like s---.  I probably would have at least put on this amount of makeup to look presentable when I'm meeting you for the first time. He just like shows up with you there!"

“He did that on purpose,” Heather said of Tarek, to which Haack agreed, “Oh totally."

Heather joked, “He's like, ‘Here's my new little toy,'" adding later that she was “so nervous” to meet Haack for the first time.
