South Dakota women's basketball, Creighton to meet at Pentagon

South Dakota and Creighton will play a women's basketball game at the Sanford Pentagon on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.
The South Dakota women's basketball team will return to the Sanford Pentagon for the first time since 2024 when it takes on Creighton on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026.
The game time and ticket and broadcast information will all be announced at a later date.
It will be the Coyotes' first regular season game at the Pentagon since Nov. 16, 2024, when they lost 113-70 to Nebraska. South Dakota is 6-5 on Heritage Court.

“We are incredibly thankful for our continued partnership with Sanford and the opportunity to once again compete at the Pentagon,” South Dakota head coach Carrie Eighmey said in a press release. “There is no better stage for our matchup with Creighton. The Pentagon is by far one of the best basketball venues in the country. Sioux Falls is home to many of our alumni and fans, and we expect the Coyote faithful to show up and make it a true home-court advantage for us.”
The rivalry between South Dakota and Creighton has been played 28 times, with the series knotted at 14 wins per side. Creighton is on a two-game winning streak after the Coyotes won six in a row themselves.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams on a neutral floor.
