On Sunday, the *Practical Magic *star took to Instagram to share three photos of John Wilson Bullock, who died in 2018 at the age of 93. The first showed father and daughter embracing while sporting big smiles; the second showed John cradling his daughter's two children, Louis and Laila, when they were babies; and the third was a throwback to John's time in the army as a teenager.

"He loved me through my goth period... Loved on the loves of my life... And loved our country at 18," the actress wrote in the caption. "Happy Heavenly Father’s Day, Dad ❤️."

Bullock's sister, the pastry chef, TV host, and writer Gesine Bullock-Prado, shared her own throwback photo to honor their beloved dad on Sunday. "Happy Father's Day to all the groovy dads," Gesine wrote in the caption of a photo of John with his two daughters lounging on a couch.

It was Gesine who confirmed reports of John's death in 2018 with an emotional Instagram post that read, "John Wilson Bullock. February 11, 1925 - September, 18 2018. Beloved baby brother, American [WWII bronze star veteran], husband, father of 4 strong women, [grandpa], adorable scamp, handsome devil, and trickster to the end."

Sandra has proven herself family-first through and through on her social media this year, with Sunday's Father's Day tribute coming a month after a tribute to her mother, the opera singer and voice teacher Helga Mathilde Meyer, who died in 2000.

"To all the mamas, No matter how you came to be, Happy Mother's Day. We are all bound by this honor of a lifetime," the actress wrote over a photo of herself with her grandmother, then her mother, and then finally herself with her own children.
