Prince Harry almost broke down in tears looking at a photograph of his children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who he shares with wife Meghan Markle.
āThe two of them, brother and sister, at peace with each other in nature fills my heart,ā he said in a new MasterClass interview.
Harryāwho recently moved back to the U.K. with his familyāhas been locked in a yearslong rift with his brother, Prince William.
Prince Harry got emotional when he spoke about his children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, in a new interview.
In a MasterClass episode that dropped on the platform on October 8, the Duke of Sussex was nearly moved to tears as he spoke about his children, who he shares with wife Meghan Markle. Harry spoke about a photo that he had taken of his son and daughter together, walking side-by-side and barefoot along the sand against a mountainous backdrop. In the snap, Archie holds Lilibetās hand, indicative of their strong bond.
āI love this photo,ā Harry said (per Hello!). āI took this photo. This was just before Archieās birthday. The two of them, brother and sister, at peace with each other in nature fills my heart.ā
āIām proud that weāve got this far,ā the Invictus Games founder added. āYou know, super happy that Iāve got two healthy, beautiful, amusing, very funny kids.ā

The Sussex family recently relocated back to the U.K. in late August after living for over six years in Montecito, California. Part of the reason behind the move was so Archie and Lilibet can learn more about their British roots. When explaining what he wished heād known before becoming a father, Harry said in the episode, āBecoming a father is an emotional rollercoaster. I wish Iād known how hard being a father was going to be. But I wouldnāt change it for the world.ā
āI think the advice I would have given to myself is, āHold on tight, because itās going to be one hell of a ride,āā he added.

Harry also spoke about his mother, Princess Diana, in the MasterClass, called āRedefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss.ā He said heād āspent so long emotionally numb, to a large extent, because I felt disloyal and guilty for the possibility of being happy and joyful without her.ā
āI felt like I had to be sad and I had to be emotionally numb in order to prove to her that I missed her,ā Harry continued. Realizing that the former Princess of Wales would want him to be happy was a āhuge mental shift,ā he added.

āIt freed me, and it gave me a whole different outlook on life,ā he said.
Harry is no doubt happiest when he is with his wife and children, and in the MasterClass shared a rule he has regarding time apart from them.

āThe biggest factor for me is the energy and the joy and happiness that I get being with my family, especially our kids, and the joy and happiness I get by being on the ground for my work,ā Harry said. āAnd the key to finding the joy and happiness balance is no more than 10 days away from my wife and kids. This is balancing my work and the purpose behind that as well as being a dad and a husband and the sort of multi-identity elements coming together.ā
