Did Maren Morris get an invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding?
In a new interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 Miami with Mack & Jen, the “Girl” singer-songwriter, 36, revealed she recently received a text message inviting her to Swift and Kelce’s wedding — but it was almost certainly fake.
The topic arose as one of the hosts asked if Morris had "any tea on the wedding," to which the Grammy winner responded, “No, I wish.”
Morris then revealed, “I got this spam text a couple weeks ago, and it was like, ‘You're invited to Taylor and Travis' wedding.’ And I was like, ‘I’m blocking this,’ because, like, there's no way they would send an invitation through a text like this.”
She continued, “But I was like, ‘How is this going to my number?’”
One of the hosts wondered if it could’ve been an actual invitation. “What if I, like, trashed it?” asked Morris, before wondering again why they were able to reach her number. “This is weird.”
Swift, 36, and Kelce, 36, announced their engagement in August 2025 after two years of dating. In an October 2025 interview on The Graham Norton Show, the “Opalite” singer said her fiancé “really crushed it when it came to surprising me” with the proposal.

“We had actually filmed a podcast episode — he has a podcast called New Heights — so we filmed the podcast for about three or four hours ... and meanwhile behind his house, he was having the whole back garden turned into this,” Swift explained. “And one of the things that he put in there, very strategically, was a wall of hedges that weren't there before. And inside the hedges was my tour photographer hiding in bushes that had not previously been there.”
She commended Kelce for going “all out” and scored his proposal as a “10 out of 10.”
At the time, Swift noted wedding planning would come after she was done with “album stuff” related to her latest release, The Life of a Showgirl.
Elsewhere in Morris’ latest SiriusXM interview, she reflected on the “very surreal” experience of collaborating with Swift on 2021’s “You All Over Me,” a vault track from Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

“I'm so happy she let me be on that song because it just reminded me so much of that era of, like, really falling in love with her music. And even though we're the same age, it just made me feel like a teenager again,” she said. “And it's just a really well-written song. And it's a great record.”
Morris continued, “I’m surprised it didn't make the original Fearless, but I was very happy to put my vocal on that. And then we got to perform it, I guess like two years ago now, on the Eras Tour. I came out as a surprise guest at the Chicago show, and we did that, and it was so cool because it's so acoustic. So, it's just us two and our two acoustic guitars and a whole stadium knowing every word of this deep cut.”
