Legendary 80s Actress Joins 'Yellowjackets' Cast

Deadline announced on Wednesday, Feb. 25, that Molly Ringwald will be joining the cast of the Showtime horror drama Yellowjackets.
Ringwald will be joining the series' fourth and final season as Van's (Liv Hewson, Lauren Ambrose) mother Vicky. The character is a recently recovered alcoholic who is on a journey to remedy her past.
Yellowjackets follows a girl's high school soccer team that is stranded in the wilderness following a horrific plane crash. The narrative goes back and forth between the 90s and present day where the adult survivors are trying to heal and move forward.

The current cast is already stacked with numerous Hollywood icons including Christina Ricci,Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Lauren Ambrose, and Hilary Swank.
It was also announced that June Squibb will be joining the cast for the final season. Details about Squibb's character are currently unknown and have yet to be publicly announced.

The fourth and final season of Yellowjackets reportedly began production in Vancouver this month and is predicted for a late 2026 release. The season is expected to run for ten episodes to conclude the series.
