Kelly Ripa is enjoying the snowy sights in her home city!
The Live with Kelly and Mark co-host, 55, shared scenes of New York City covered in snow to her Instagram Stories amid the intense blizzard on Monday, Feb. 23. In the first slide, Ripa captured a glimpse of the city skyline from inside a building as heavy snow fell down on the street below.
She then appeared to be taking snaps from inside a car the next day, as she shared a view of fresh snowflakes falling onto a massive pile of snow left over from a previous storm. Other snaps included trees covered in a layer of snow as the storm transformed the city into a winter wonderland.

In her last snap, Ripa appeared to return home to her longtime New York City abode, which she shares with husband and co-host Mark Consuelos, and revealed her rooftop terrace was completely buried by the heavy snowfall.
The scene looked almost identical to the aftermath of a previous storm that hit New York City in January, which left her terrace in a similar state.
Ripa and Consuelos still reported for their Live with Kelly and Mark hosting duties on Feb. 23, despite public schools getting a snow day and non-essential travel being banned in New York City until 12 p.m. ET that day.

In order to make it to work, the couple revealed they spent the previous night at a hotel amid the storm.
"Mark and I spent the night in a hotel last night," Ripa said in a clip shared to the Live with Kelly and Mark Instagram.

"The hotel across the street from the studio. Which, I thought would be an easy commute, but as it turns out, it was a very difficult commute because drudging through the snow [was hard] and the wind was very blustery," she added.

Chiming in, Consuelos added of the blizzard: "This happens as you said, every 10 years." He then added to his wife, "We've been together for every major blizzard that has struck this city."
While Consuelos said he hoped they're "together for a few more," Ripa quipped, "May we never endure another blizzard."
