*The Sopranos *aired its final season nearly two decades ago, and in the time that has passed, several cast members have died — from James Gandolfini, who played the series' central figure Tony Soprano, to fellow cast members such as Jerry Adler, who played his adviser Herman "Hesh" Rabkin.

Edie Falco, who starred alongside Gandolfini as Tony's wife Carmela, reflected on both her time on the HBO hit series as well as the loss of cast members during a panel at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City on Friday, Feb. 27, according to PEOPLE. The panel, which was moderated by Ari Aster, also included show creator David Chase and actor Dominic Chianese and followed a screening of the series' third season episode "Second Opinion."

The *Nurse Jackie *star said how unbelievable it is that several of those she worked with across six seasons are no longer here. "I can't even begin to tell you, first and foremost, about how many of those people are gone. It still knocks me off my feet," Falco shared.**

More *Sopranos *cast members who have passed include Nancy Marchand, who played Tony's mother, Tony Sirico, who portrayed Paulie "Walnuts" Gualtieri, as well as Charley Scalies.

During its six-season run, *The Sopranos *won 21 Emmy Awards, which included three Best Actress wins for Falco. Reflecting on playing the wife of a mafia crime boss, Falco shared at the panel, "I still don't have an intellectual perspective on what the heck went on for those 10 years of my life. It is so evocative to watch."**

During the 2013 Emmy Awards, Falco delivered an emotional tribute to her longtime costar Gandolfini, who died suddenly of a heart attack earlier that year on June 19, 2013.

“If you needed anything at all, ever, Jim was there to take care of it before you even had a chance to ask,” Falco said. "You all knew James Gandolfini the actor. I was lucky enough to know Jim the man for 10 years as his close colleague and his pretend life partner, and for many more years as his friend. And it’s Jim the man, the very dear man, that I will miss most of all.”**
