Donald Trump has been mocked online after appearing in public with what seemed to be a bald patch visible at the back of his head.
The US president's hair has become an obsession for many online in recent weeks, with speculation that he wears some form of hairpiece going viral across social media. The most recent footage drawing attention captures Trump, 80, turning away from reporters and heading toward Marine One, the presidential helicopter.
However, as he turns, a section at the back of his head looks noticeably thin.
The influential X account Meidas Touch posted a still image from the footage, specifically drawing attention to the moment the 'bald spot' becomes apparent. Their caption read: "Missed a spot."

Fellow X users quickly weighed in. One remarked: "That's...a pretty big spot. Honestly, it's more ridiculous that he tries to hide it instead of just trying to find a way to embrace it."
Another user theorized: "Must not be wearing the wig tonight. ....eh?" A third quipped: "Even his hair is abandoning him."
The presidential coiffure has captured widespread attention in recent weeks. The scrutiny intensified following several public appearances where the thickness of his hair appeared to vary significantly, prompting suggestions he might be wearing some type of hairpiece.

Before the president's visit to Las Vegas last Wednesday, the wind caught his hair, exposing substantial areas of his scalp. During the engagement, many observers noted its surprisingly voluminous look.

Throughout the week as he made various public appearances, his hairstyle seemed to shift in both color and fullness, prompting social media users on X to draw parallels to Robin Williams' beloved character, Mrs. Doubtfire, and even to Trump's own mother, Mary Anne Trump.
From Vegas to Washington, D.C., online observers were swift to notice the changes, with many scathing of the new look.
On day four of LIV Golf New York at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on August 9, the president was spotted wearing a white cap that completely concealed his hair.
One X user posed the question, "Notice anything about his appearance?".
The online reaction was immediate and varied. One commenter noted, "Bloated, pale, unsteady on his feet.
"Looks like Humpty Dumpty," another quipped.
When the president emerged in Las Vegas with what numerous observers suspected was a hairpiece or wig after footage showed his scalp as he approached Air Force One, the internet was equally critical.
Journalist Aaron Rupar observed on X, "Trump's hair, uh, has a lot more volume than normal."
One MAGA supporter declared, "I do NOT care what anyone says. This is proof that President Trump is aging in reverse. His hair looks absolutely amazing today."
Swift rebuttals followed, with others asking, "You know that's a wig - right?".
