The force was with a California couple as they wed in a Star Wars-themed ceremony.

On the informally recognized Star Wars Day on May 4, a bride and groom embraced the beloved franchise by holding a celestial-themed ceremony at the San Bernardino Court House in California. From their specialized vows to the arrival of stormtroopers, the newlyweds tied the knot in a celebration they'll never forget.

"Who isn't a fan of Star Wars?" the groom told CBS LA, alongside his new wife.

Though they had originally planned to wed in the courthouse's traditional ceremony room, the couple ultimately opted for the Star Wars theme to make their wedding all the more auspicious, per KCEN TV.

The Star Wars room featured a backdrop from the film, silver tinsel, various balloons shaped like planets and the sun, and lightsabers, the outlet reported. The county's team even played host to some Mandalorian cosplayers.

In a clip from the wedding, captured by CBS LA, the couple marched down the aisle to a dramatic stretch of the Star Wars soundtrack.

During the ceremony, the bride and groom got to "twist the words" of their vows to both reflect their love and their Star Wars affinity. The officiant asked if the groom pledged "to remain loyal to her through every single star system," to which he responded, "I do."

"This is an opportunity for San Bernardino County to help these couples commemorate what they like," the wedding officiant told the outlet.

The couple's relatives, most of whom are Star Wars fans, were able to be in attendance to watch them exchange their vows, KCEN TV reported.

"It's intimate, and just the fact that everyone is here makes it more special," the bride told CBS LA.
