Brooke Hogan shared her thoughts on her relationship with HGTV's Scott McGillivray during a recent episode of Rock the Block.

"There's a little bit of like a daddy complex happening here where I feel safe and protected by you," the reality star said of her designer pro partner.

Hogan and McGillivray are partners on season 7 of the competitive series in which they work to pull off an awe-inspiring renovation that increases a home's value.

For anyone hoping to gain more insight into the budding relationship between Brooke Hogan and Scott McGillivray, the reality star provides just that on the recent episode of HGTV's Rock the Block.

"Scott and I have become very close, very fast," the 37-year-old mother of three says during a confessional interview with her teammate featured in the Monday episode of the renovation competition show, per PEOPLE.

Hogan continues as McGillivray turns to the camera with a playfully shocked expression. "I'm sure a lot of people watching us will think that there's something going on," she adds. "But really the affection I have for him is a mixture of things. There's a little bit of like a daddy complex happening here where I feel safe and protected by you, and I trust you and you give good advice."

"And, you know, his hugs feel like a dad hug, you know?" Hogan adds.

Hogan and McGillivray, 48, have inspired online conversation since they partnered up on the competition series' latest season. Rock the Block pairs each HGTV design pro with a celebrity, giving each team a budget of $275,000 to pull off an awe-inspiring renovation that increases their home's value the most after seven episodes.

Season 7's famous faces include Hogan, Drew Lachey, Vernon Davis, and Chelsea Meissner.

The chemistry between Hogan and McGillivray has even sparked speculation of something deeper than friendship, despite both reality stars being married with children.

Hogan married retired NHL player Steven Oleksy in 2022, and the pair share twins Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene, whom they welcomed in January of last year. McGillivray married his wife Sabrina McGillivray in 2008. They welcomed their first daughter, Myah, in 2012, and their second daughter, Layla, was born in 2013.

Hogan addressed the rumors directly in an Instagram post shared last week, featuring several photos of McGillivray with her husband.

"People looooove to speculate," Hogan captioned the post. "There's been a lot of people commenting on posts of me and Scott suggesting we have a 'thing' going on. And honestly, it's just mean and hateful. (But sorry we're so funny and adorable on camera.)"

She continued in the caption, "So for those people, I'll just leave you with these pictures of Scott and my husband. If you're worried about anyone, worry about my hockey player husband stealing his sweet Canadian heart."
