BLACKPINK's Lisa loves that fans respect her privacy.

Lalisa Manobal, born Pranpriya Manoban, revealed that her relationship with her fans has changed since she was rumored to have been dating Frédéric Arnault in an interview with Vanity Fair published on Tuesday, June 23.

"I feel like after I came out and talked about how there's no privacy for me, [fans] now respect that a lot more," she said.

While the 29-year-old K-pop star has a deep appreciation for her fans, she noted that "they know that being in this position is not easy."

"Sometimes it's just a little too much, and sometimes I just want to be normal," Lisa said.

Vanity Fair reported that she and Arnault seem to have broken up as he was absent from her birthday celebration in March.

Lisa rose to fame in 2016 as part of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé. She released her debut solo album Alter Ego in February 2025.

In April, Lisa dropped her latest single, "Bad Angel," with DJ Anyma. The month prior, she announced her history-making Las Vegas residency debut, which will kick off in November.

The "New Woman" singer has a multifaceted career, having starred in season 3 of The White Lotus. She's currently working on her own documentary and the Netflix movie Tygo.

Lisa tends to keep her romantic life private, although she and Arnault were linked together after he attended a BLACKPINK concert in November 2022.

Following the show, the son of French billionaire Bernard Arnault and classical pianist Hélène Mercier shared a photo with the girl group on Instagram. "What an amazing evening for the BlackPink concert in LA. Congratulations and see you soon in Paris," he wrote in the caption.

In May 2024, Lisa and Arnault were pictured together at the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Kith Launch Celebration in Miami. The next year, he was seen at The White Lotus season 3 premiere in Bangkok, according to a fan video.

The CEO of LVMH Watches & Jewelry also has a passion for music. He told The New York Timesin 2021 that heenjoys playing the piano in his spare time.

"Music is like meditation. It allows me to focus on something else," he said.
