- New details have emerged surrounding Taylor Swift's upcoming wedding at Madison Square Garden

- There reportedly will be at least two matrimonial events over the July 4 weekend.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani isn't the only one with loose lips when it comes to Taylor Swift's highly anticipated wedding.

After the city leader let it slip that her and Travis Kelce's big day was one of the many "big events" scheduled for the July 4 weekend in Manhattan, now the *New York Times* is spilling more details — two weeks before the couple is set to walk down the aisle at Madison Square Garden.

There will be two days of celebration at the 820,000-square-foot arena: an intimate gathering of 100 people on July 2 followed by a "splashier" soiree with "possible stage appearances" on July 3, according to the newspaper's sources.

A representative for Swift did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

Swift's associates have reportedly been spotted at Rock Lititz, a production campus with multiple rehearsal spaces for live events, in Lancaster County, Pa.

Winick Productions, an event-planning company that has put on red carpet functions at MSG, applied for a permit that would allow a tent or canopy to be set up outside the arena for an event with 500 to 999 attendees. The application also noted that trucks would require space to load and unload related materials.

That detail coincides with previous reports that Swift and Kelce rented MSG for three days (at $1 million-a-pop), allowing enough time to set up and strike down the extravagant event.

Of the 1,000 expected wedding guests, many are just as famous as the bride and groom. Celebrities who reportedly received an invite to the nuptials include Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, and the Haim sisters (Alana, Danielle, and Este).

To accommodate the expected monsoon of public interest, another permit was filed with New York City to shut down the streets around MSG for the three-day extravaganza from July 2 to July 4, three sources dished to *NYT*. Additionally, Amtrak police officers who patrol Penn Station located beneath MSG have been advised of a Swift-Kelce wedding on the July 4 weekend.

Approximately 12 blocks north of MSG, the Marriott Marquis in Times Square is reportedly holding reservations for several of Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

The bride and groom have been busying themselves ahead of their star-studded wedding.

On Tuesday, Swift surprised fans in Nashville at her fiancee's annual Tight Ends & Friends charity concert, where she joined country singer Lainey Wilson for a duet of her 2008 hit, "Love Story."

In video shared by **'s sister publication PEOPLE, the engaged singer can be seen flashing her diamond ring during the lyrics: "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring, and said, 'Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone.'"
