The Adults Season 2 official trailer has just dropped. A major Stranger Things cast member was spotted joining the popular show. This has further amped up fans’ excitement.
Gaten Matarazzo, who played Dustin Henderson in Netflix’s Stranger Things, was spotted in the trailer. This will be a huge addition, as Matarazzo’s comic timing is already well-known to the Stranger Things fanbase. Apart from the 23-year-old, the trailer also offers glimpses of more guest stars. Zosia Mamet and Jake Shane, too, will be part of Adults Season 2.
Speaking of the cast, Malik Elassal, Lucy Freyer, Owen Thiele, Amita Rao, and Jack Innanen will return to reprise their role. Joining them for the second season will be Ben Marshall, Raven-Symoné, Isaac Powell, Susie Essman, and more.

What do we see in the Adults Season 2 trailer?
The trailer opens with the traditional chaotic and funny elements of the sitcom that have made it more appealing to the audience. The series will once again navigate the bond between five friends, Samir, Billie, Issa, Paul Baker, and Anton, who have crashed into Samir’s childhood home. With all of them coming face-to-face with real-world problems, one thing always remains the same. It’s the bond of friendship and having each other’s backs consistently, even when the chips are down.
The show is directed by Jonathan Krisel and co-written by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw. Both Kronengold and Shaw are also executive producers for the show alongside Rob Rosell, Alicia Van Couvering, Jonathan Krisel, Sarah Naftalis, and Nick Kroll.
Adults Season 2 is set to feature eight episodes in total. Fans can catch all the episodes at once on Hulu and FXX on-demand. However, for those watching on FXX, only two episodes will be available at a time, with new episodes added each week. Adults Season 2 will premiere on August 27, 2026. International fans can catch the show on Disney+.
